  1. Konerko and Dye have been choking big time this series.
  2. So that what speed in RF looks like..... Dye would have turned that into a double.
  3. Can the White Sox please pitch a clean, 1-2-3 inning for the 6th. No pussy hits, no walks.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 25, 2008 -> 02:57 PM) Same lineup tonight? Haha....unbelievable. Does anyone know if everyone is in the same order? I assume this is what everyone means when they say "same lineup" but I haven't seen anything posted. I could atleast understand the same players, because there aren't many alternatives, but having everyone in the same exact f***ing order after last night is ridiculous. This series has shown the 3-4-5 haven't done s***. Do we want Wise up again in crucial situations again? Either he's thinking "I need to stick to one lineup" or "I'll show those people who are criticizing me whose boss by not changing one damn thing!"
  5. QUOTE (G&T @ Sep 25, 2008 -> 02:35 PM) Exact same lineup tonight. Awesome. Well, I'll hold off my anger until someone not as lazy as me finds out the career numbers our starters have against Slowey.
  6. You know what I've always wondered, and maybe it happens so I could be wrong -- why don't players in a lineup work together to look for different pitches? Like first time through, odd lineup players look for fastball; even players for breaking ball. Mix it up a little bit. It was obvious no one in the lineup was sitting on anything with a ripple; because Blackburn was hanging pitches left and right. And what about his high changeups? Jesus Christ. Are we the only team who can't hit that? DJ said something yesterday that was interesting. He noticed that in tough situations Minnesota pitchers were typically grooving pitches into the plate for strike one to get ahead. Offhand I know Blackburn and Nathan did it. Just a little hanging breaking ball over the plate. If we're in another bases loaded, 2 outs scenario someone has to be looking for a hanger to absolutely crush. Early in the count.
  7. The BEST thing this team can do from the onset is score a few runs (within the first three innings), and then for Gavin Floyd to immediately shut down the Twins the half inning after. Look at these last two games -- whenever we have scored (aside from Griffey's 9th inning HR yesterday), the Twins have responded the following inning. This needs to stop. It completely deflates a club. If we're going down 1-2-3 to Slowey and Gavin gives up a run, the "we're doomed" mentality will resonate through the club again. Dye, Konerko and Thome have to quit embarrassing the White Sox logo as well. It's pitiful watching this display of missing hanger after hanger, or pounding everything into the ground directly to a fielder. Quit acting like pussies and win a game.
  8. This. Team. Is. Dead. Wow, it's actually relevant now to say that. Just as annoying, but still...
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 09:26 PM) I want to thank everyone for being civil on this site the last two days. It's made it much better than the back-and-forth that usually occurs with loser threads, etc. That's because there's no debate the White Sox are choking. Everyone is in agreement.
  10. QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 09:58 PM) I laugh at these every time I see them. Well, get yourself ready because if we lose tomorrow you'll be seeing it a whole lot.
  11. QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 09:52 PM) i once heard a rumor that ron coomer got a 12 on his ACT....not even joking, that was from a guy who worked at CF swington (coomers batting facilities).... He must be clinically retarded because I'm fairly sure I heard monkeys who were trained to fill in circles score, on average, 13 on the ACT.
  12. 3-4-5 in the lineup has been 3 for 22 these first two games. CHOKE.
  13. Damn. Sorry about extending the page. I feel like I just pulled a White Sox and choked away this loser thread.
  14. If Wise doesn't come through here I never want to say that ghey avatar again.
  15. AJ really screaming from the dugout. Hopefully at Swisher to do soemthing.
  16. If this series has been any indication they'll just embarrass themselves this inning. I wouldn't be surprised to see 9 pitches, 9 strikes, three K's.
  17. Terrible AB from Dye. I'm just going to pust this now, even before one pitch is thrown in the AB.
  18. I'm going to post a rally avatar every offense inning until we come through with the lead
  19. Once again we appear to live through a missed strike three call. Make it hurt, Sox. You know Minnesota would if they were in our situation.
  20. Also, I'm that confident he'l f*** up I already posted that before hte AB is finished.
  21. f***ing Dead. Terrible series.
  22. I'm offering my assistance in the following options for a Rally Avatar: Rally Wintergreen Air Freshener Rally Lint Trap Rally Lawn Mower Rally Hurricane Rally Game Boy. Pick one.
