Billy is finally beginning to use his curveball, which is showing good break. If he compliments this with his fastball he will become better.....the problem in past games is he would consistently hang these pitches up.
You like him, alright. I admit he's a standup guy who never attempts to shed blame for a bad performace.
But you have to agree he's a terrible pitcher who has no business in ANY closers role.
Not much bite on his breaking pitches, and when he did get it over.......well, it was hammered.
