  1. Madrigal hasn't proved anything in the minors yet though. You play Moncada at his natural position and where his ceiling is highest until The Little Magician forces a move.
  2. Nothing. I'm saying I bet they call him up next year.
  3. Personally, I really don't like it. Yoan showed flashes of good range and potential at 2nd. His bat is also more valuable at 2nd. He can be a top 2nd baseman imo. I also don't like the idea of switching his position for a dude who isn't even in the majors yet (Madrigal). Let Yoan focus on improving at the plate. I think this is another poor move by the goon squad that is our front office.
  4. This thread will be good bump material when I'm right about him coming up next year. This is a total Sox move. The Little Magician will be up next year.
  5. That's a barstool nickname for Nick Foles if I'm not mistaken
  6. So Herb Lawrence is the official white Sox nicknamer?
  7. I don't remember deciding on a nickname. @ChiliIrishHammock24 is the official nicknamer of soxtalk, and he didn't declare it yet. That nickname is lame anyway
  8. 100%. Smart guy but he seems to go out of his way to defend Rick
  9. I was being slightly sarcastic, but I didn't realize he was that highly thought of prior to the trade.
  10. Tatis Jr was a nothing prospect at the time. Losing him has no impact on the team today, and is not something any other fan base would dwell on.
  11. Nobody in the scouting community thinks he can stick at catcher.
  12. Marcus Semien had 3.7 WAR last season, which is almost double the WAR of any player on the White Sox last year... But yeah, who needs that?
  13. No, that isn't actually your opinion
  14. What's the reason to move Yoan to 3rd base already then? Terrible decision IMO. His potential is way higher at 2nd.
  15. The Sox have been known to rush their 1st round picks. Rodon, Fulmer. Nick might be the most polished player in the last draft. Will he be rushed up this year? IMO, the Sox will do it. They've done this plenty of times before..
  16. Fact. Gio did have a dynamite arm, back with the nats. His stuff is mediocre now
  17. Boros representing a player shouldn't have any impact on the White Sox choice. Then again, gotta save up to resign our future studs ?
  18. Extending Abreu is an awful idea. He is an aging slugger who is a complete liability at 1st. We have enough position less sluggers coming up through the minors. No reason to waste any payroll on Abreu.
  19. I think I'm going to switch my allegiance to the brew crew. Big fan of them.
  20. You just need to ether him a few times like I have, then he'll stop
  21. Yeah, and doctor's used to think blood letting was the way to go. Ptatc's methods may be antiquated for all we know.
  22. We've gone through this before. You and I have differing views on the responsibilities and roles of a training staff
