Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal 13m13 minutes ago Sources: #Rockies’ Nolan Arenado changing agents, from Scott Boras to Joel Wolfe and Nick Chanock of Wasserman Media Group. The only guy I would trade Q for just dropped Scott Boras as his agent....

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 04:30 PM) I'd rather have Montas working as a starter in the minors, versus being reliever for the Sox in 2016. We have other guys in the system I'd rather convert, hey how about Turner to start with? Plus there will be other reliever bargains out there. I agree, just throwing names out there. Someone will come on a minor league deal much like Albers did (if we don't resign him).

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 3, 2015 -> 09:07 AM) Jennings was terrific in the 2nd half. I see no reason to send him down as he should be trusted over Duke going forward. Personally I would not touch the pen other than resigning Albers. I think it's fine. If you could get rid of Duke I would do that, but I don't think that's feasible. C- Robertson SU- Jones SU- Petricka LHP- Jennings LHP- Duke RHP- Putnam/Albers Long: Turner This is perfect. I agree with you 100%. I don't get the hate for Jennings, we was a lot better than Putnam and Duke in the 2nd half. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 3, 2015 -> 09:08 AM) I know it will contrary to popular belief, but if we don't get a decent one year number for Albers, I am OK with letting him walk and finding the next project to put out there. Or just insert Montas in his spot if he is not traded.

QUOTE (GreenSox @ Nov 4, 2015 -> 08:39 AM) anyway here's my suggestion, which is sure to be met with applause! (Or not). Trade Eaton and Melky to the Padres for Norris, Solarte, Ross and a prospect. Trade Q to Redsox for Bradley JR, Chtistian Vasquez and prospects. 2 holes plugged (albeit no better than plugged) and a killer OF defense with 2 guys who can cover ground and Avi's arm. Need to add a power bat, although I don't know what to do about Laroche. Could eve re-sign Alexei at half price now that the other 2 clowns are gone. Saladino the utility guy. You might as well trade Abreu and Sale while you're at it. LF Bradley Jr 3B Solarte 1B Abreu DH LaRoche RF Garcia CF Thompson C Norris SS Ramirez 2B Sanchez Sale Ross Rodon Johnson Danks This team will lose more than this years team.

No deals to be made this deadline. Broncos and Browns couldn't agree on compensation.

Broncos working on a deal to get Browns LT Joe Thomas

Well, since the Nats aren't hiring Bud Black, I'd go after him after RV gets fired.

QUOTE (GreenSox @ Nov 2, 2015 -> 10:14 PM) I'd rather have Saladino at 1/20th of the cost of either. I agree. I want no part of Desmond.

QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 09:49 PM) Agreed. People often confuse football with baseball. The right draft can turn your fortunes around immediately. My biggest concern is the possibility of Vic Fangio being hired somewhere else as a head coach. People must see what he's doing with a severe personnel deficiency. A lot of football experts I've heard are saying that Fangio isn't the type for a HC. I think Fangio is conformable in his current role. It's Gase that you should be worried about.

QUOTE (SCCWS @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 05:59 PM) FWIW---Olney said today that Cespedes prolonged hitting slump since September and his miscues in the outfield is costing him major FA dollars. In terms of FA outfielders, my wish list in order is Heyward, Upton, Gordon, Cespedes.

On that last drive by the Vikings, did anyone else see that the WR that caught the ball over Rolle might of ran out of bounds on his own before catching that?

I love Jay Cutler

Hawks call up Hartman. Don't get the move unless this a trade is on the horizon or this pushes Bickell and Desjardins out of the line up to replace them with Teuvo and Hartman.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 30, 2015 -> 09:59 AM) It probably depends on how some of the younger QB's in the league develop. Derek Carr Teddy Bridgewater Blake Bortles Jameis Winston Marcus Mariota Two or three of these guys need to take the next step. I could see Carr being the best out of this group. QUOTE (scs787 @ Oct 30, 2015 -> 10:26 AM) Is Luck even really elite? Yes. He's been great every year besides this year. Injuries, an incredibly bad OL, and a coach that's going to get fired doesn't mix well.
