4/6 Sox @ Oakland
Not his best stuff, but Rodon has battled and pitched well tonight. Let the bullpen come in now and hope the offense comes around.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 5, 2016 -> 01:13 PM) He's an asshole though. He should be a valuable resource for the many young guys interested in the draft. Many people "scout" players and create their own websites and draft guides. Gabriel talks down to most of them like they are idiots. There are many Greg Gabriel's littered throughout the league which is why there is still a ton of antiquated old thinking that leads to teams being bad year after year. Greg Gabriel has never been wrong before. Just ask him. I know he grills Leming constantly. Gabriel thinks he knows it all.

Minor League Rosters
Barnum and Dykstra start the year on the DL for WS. Barnum cannot stay healthy. Dopico and Stephens skip a level and head to WS.

2016-2017 NFL Thread
QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 5, 2016 -> 10:58 AM) I'm scared about paying a dlineman so soon after this FA payday. Maybe front load the deal? Bears will have to spend some money and Wilkerson is a top 5 DE entering his prime. Remember, Young, Houston, Rolle, Royal, Cutler will all come off the books soon too

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 5, 2016 -> 10:47 AM) If we could get him for a 2nd rounder or by swapping 1st, I would be on board. I think he is a special dlineman and a huge difference maker within the D. Completely agree, and he's young enough (turning 26 I believe) that he becomes part of the core. Bears have plenty of cap space in the upcoming years and only Jeffery, Long, and Fuller? to really think about extending.

2016-2017 NFL Thread
Rumors/reports saying that the Bears are the front runners for Wilkerson. Oakland just signed Smith so they may be out of it, but I don't know. I think Pace wants to be able to talk to Wilkerson about an extension first before a trade is made.

2016 MLB Draft
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 09:03 AM) Kyle Lewis is becoming my top choice at No. 10, but who knows if he will be available then. Beyond the insane power numbers (12 HRs in 108 ABs) and great average (.426), he has walked 33 times compared to 17 strikeouts. Love that type of plate control and discipline. I've been on Lewis since January. Really hope he falls to 10.
