Bulls' remaining games... wins or losses
BridgeportHeather replied to knightni's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 03:52 AM) Fri 15 Orlando L Care to explain why you think we'll lose to Orlando AT HOME, when we've won both games against Orlando so far this season and are unstoppable at home at his present moment? -
Bulls' remaining games... wins or losses
BridgeportHeather replied to knightni's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I could easily see the Bulls winning every one of their remaining games. But, if they would lose one, I'd think it would be the game against Detroit, provided Chandler's eye isn't recovered by then... -
Will Konerko record a stolen base this season?

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 03:48 AM) I remember it well. That SB was the target of many jokes and wisecracks throught the season. Outdone only by his inside-the-park home run at the Juice Box a few years ago. -

QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 03:30 AM) Where do dog bones come from? In the middle of the night, they go up to the north side of town and kill a bunch of Cub fans, skinning them and taking their bones for good use.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 03:18 AM) And you think that is stopping Maury? If not, he can always get JoeyBatters and the Des Plaines Police Department! -
Don't people only live ONE life??? So, then what's the point of having FOUR CONSECUTIVE life sentences??? These damn law people wanna complicate things too much!!!!

QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 03:08 AM) I saw freakin' LACROSSE on SportsCenter. I mean...cmon now. :headshake Outdone by the "Puppy Bowl" that was aired on Lifetime on Superbowl Sunday.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 02:58 AM) That depth is fading fast. Sooner or later, they'll have to start feeling it. Ummm, the only guy who's out for the season is Deng. Curry WILL be back, and Chandler isn't gonna miss any more time than a Full House re-run! That's hardly much depth we're going to be missing...

QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 02:57 AM) he could be down for a while then :banghead :banghead :banghead They did say that it just takes a couple days at most for a thing of that nature to heal, so he shouldn't miss the game against the Pisstons.

QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 02:47 AM) wait... wait .. wait.. Everybody slow down! Chandler not playing? Knowing Tyson, he'll play. Not if his scratched cornea isn't healed by game time. He had a HUGE piece of gauze covering a huge patch over his eye when being interviewed on the Bulls Post Game Live on CSN tonight.

Your predictions for the 05 season
BridgeportHeather replied to Winnin Ugly's topic in 2005 Season in Review
I predict the Sox will start the season 3-1, with Buehrle and Duque getting wins in that mix... -
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2004 @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 02:28 AM) But there's no reason this team shouldn't be in the playoffs. Weren't they the 3rd or 4th seed at the all-star break? They were the 4th seed at the All-Star break. But, New Jersey's recent surge is a reason to doubt Cleveland's chances of keeping their playoff spot.

QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 02:20 AM) I watched Baseball Tonight AND SportsCenter and never saw any Sox/Twins highlights (or even a score). Did I miss something, or did they not have any highlights to show? They were spending too much time on their love affair with Lebron.

Sox @ Twinkies: 4/9/05 Game Thread
BridgeportHeather replied to Butter Parque's topic in 2005 Season in Review
QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 02:22 AM) This infatuation with pitch counts in today's game is due to one thing .... $$$$$$$$$$$ By the time a team develops a good starting pitcher and then signs him to a multiyear, multimillion dollar contract, they don't want to risk their investment any more than possible. If they were trained in their early years to go the distance, it wouldn't even BE a risk!
