Can we move Moncada back to the 3B yet?

About 15 ticks lower on wRC+ across his career. Luis is going to be an absolute star in this game. He looks like shit at the plate the last 10 days or so, but he'll be fine. Relax.

Chance of rain all weekend. Saturday temps looks nice, but chance of rain. Both Fri and Sun look rainy at low 50s in MPLS. Its been really cold and miserable here lately after a few weeks of nice spring weather, so that is actually a large step in the right direction.

Last doubleheader in Cleveland the Sox clinched the 2021 central division. I was at that game, and it was lovely!

I am fine with this lineup. Bummer Eloy is still hurting after 2 full days off though.

Even if 2021 Moncada is who he is moving forward, that is an ~20% above average MLB offensive producer (per OPS+ & wRC+) who plays well above average defense at his position. That, ladies is gentlemen, is called a 4-5 WAR player. Some of you guys are nuts.

He’s heading to AAA to make “an appearance or two”. So next week sounds possible.

Not to mention, defense isn’t exactly a plus on this team. Weakening the team further in that regard is silly when it’s not necessary. Cart is also so far ahead of the horse on Burger. I like him as much as the next guy, and I’m open to at least letting him take some reps at 2B when Moncada comes back. I doubt it’ll be pretty, but it’s worth a try if he’s still hitting. But Moncada still isn’t moving off 3B.
