Kind of funny that they just skipped the DFA phase of this because they knew there was no way in hell anyone was claiming him or working a trade. I still do expect Leury to be back in the bigs pretty quickly, though.

Right. Just look at the Astros lineup. Their 6-9 is pretty terrible, and while Pena is an exciting young player he had a .289 OBP / .715 OPS last year and is leading off. That's pretty gross.

I have absolutely no problem with it. I would be concerned if a) there was RHP on the mound; or b) Romy wasn't hot as a pistol the past 2 weeks. Neither are the case, so I am fine with it. As someone else said, Colas probably makes his debut later in the game once Framber hits the shower.

Probably won't face another lefty for a week+. Colas going to be in there a ton. Let's see if Romy can stay hot. I dig it for tonight.

If the lineup san Yaz stays mostly healthy and they win 78 games, the pitching will need to be an absolute dumpster fire.

I hope Beni hits 2nd. Pedro sure made it seem like he'll be 3rd based on ST lineups, but I will love it if that was just a spring thing and he changes his position once the real games start.

Great news. Kind of expected IMO as they had a couple chances to do so last 4-6 weeks and didn’t. That coupled with with narrative around him being mostly positive at ST, I think Liam will be back before most expected.
