Actually, now that I think about it, batting Avila in front of Eaton is genius on Robin's part. With Avila plodding in front of him, Eaton cant run into any dumb outs. With Lawrie in front of Jackson, he actually has a chance to run.

Nice write-up Brian. While this focuses on just the more immediate help, it's pretty nice to see a little more insulation at every level. Birmingham should be a fun team, pitching at WS should be interesting, and I will definitely be keeping my eye on Kannapolis. This system is a lot better now than it was a few years ago, cant wait to see what it looks like with 3 top 50 draft picks this July.

Side note: For someone that has more college viewership under their belt than I, how does Collins game compare to AJ Reed? They seem likely pretty similar players, with Collins maybe having a slightly better eye. That could be a real nice bat to infuse into the system.
