  1. I'm never afraid to pound KW for the dumb s*** he says and does, but he is completely in the right here. In fact, I've gained a new level of respect for him because of this.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 16, 2016 -> 02:37 PM) And if the Guillen family doesn't serve as example of what having your kids around too much can do to a team, I don't know what will. LOL! Top notch comment right there!
  3. So he retired b/c they wouldn't let his kid in the clubhouse. Lol. Wow.
  4. I'm sure the organization that wouldn't spend in free agency would totally eat $13 million to cut him. Totally sounds like the White Sox MO.
  5. Do we want to see Avi or Melky more in LF this season? I think it almost makes more sense to have Avi in LF...
  6. Maybe it's time to see if Davidson can take advantage of an opportunity?
  7. Man, really hope he and his family are alright. That seems like a pretty serious u-turn there. I think this actually hurts the team more than we are expecting personally. Going after Ethier makes the most sense to me, hope it's something they consider.
  8. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 15, 2016 -> 10:36 AM) On whitesox.com at 3. Katie Eaton in the booth with Russ Langer. https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/709751867404849152 Video link http://m.whitesox.mlb.com/cws/video/v54414...rs-at-white-sox I like this order a lot better than any with Lawrie in the 2 hole
  9. QUOTE (gosoxgo2005 @ Mar 14, 2016 -> 10:20 PM) Who would ya rather have Schwarber or Rodon? (Schwarber was taken immediately after Rodon) We already have a lefty DH that can't hit lefties
  10. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Mar 14, 2016 -> 08:27 AM) Yes. He reportedly looked terrible. That's the exact opposite of everything that was said on twitter
  11. I like the quote "they're taking it a little personal too". Shows that these guys definitely have a chip on their shoulders after last year.
  12. Eigth reassigned to minors including Chris Beck, Daniel Fields, Colin Kleven, Will Lamb, Omar Narvaez, Peter Tago, Nik Turley, and Josh Wall.
  13. QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 09:58 AM) Granted it is just a rating list, but if the draft went that way it would be amazing for the Sox. 10. Buddy Reed 25. Jordan Sheffield 48. Kyle Funkhouser 85. Ben Bowden Personally, I dont get much of the hype surrounding Buddy Reed. He hasn't looked good in any of the Florida games I've watch this year. I think if things fell like this, my draft would look like: 10. Mickey Moniak 25. Carter Kieboom 48. Austin Bergner
  14. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 08:03 AM) Whole lotta weord bat wiggle & hitch in that HR video. I just hope he doesn't suck worse than Beckham. He's quite literally been better than Beckham his entire career
  15. Baseball America posted their draft board today, would hate for it to go this way as a Sox fan http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/201...hzmFySw.twitter
  16. That play Anderson made in the hole is pretty major league ready
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 8, 2016 -> 10:51 AM) Arrieta is looking for a 7 year extension. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/03/cubs...eal-length.html The inning increase last year plus contract extension on his mind really makes me think he's due for a big regression. Everyone saw how easily rattled he got in the playoffs.
  18. QUOTE (Lillian @ Mar 9, 2016 -> 01:13 PM) Did you guys see this article today?: http://m.mlb.com/news/article/165972362/ja...rs-may-be-dealt I don't see a spot for him, unless they can unload LaRoche, do you? I would not give up Danish for Bruce
  19. I know it's spring training and all this means nothing, but this is damn fun.
  20. Dear lord Davidson murdered that ball! Why can't he reach his potential?!?!
  21. Not the start we were hoping for from Johnson. Not sure he will attack hits enough to ever be an effective starter in the league.
  22. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 7, 2016 -> 11:25 AM) Zimmerman just seems like a signing that will get injured in April. I think he gets shelled this year. His "stuff" isn't near good enough to dominate hitters in the AL.
  23. QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 7, 2016 -> 10:56 AM) I feel like 30 is where he might end up. I'm cautiously optimistic about Frazier. He stumbled in the second half and he's coming into a new league. He's been looking pretty good thus far. I know it's spring training and all, but he looks ready for the AL.
