  1. That was so bad. I will cut him some slack though he just came up with his biggest hit of the season.
  2. Frazier is my new favorite member of the Sox after Sale
  3. Abreu is a disaster right now, but RV will keep trotting him out in the 3 hole like a f***ing retard
  4. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 10:35 AM) Ehh, Lawrie is no doubt intense, but I don't get the same douche vibe from him that I got from Swisher. Same. His teammates seem to geniunely like him, especially Frazier. I'm gonna stick in his corner until he proves I shouldn't. I love what he's brought to this team.
  5. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 08:41 AM) This thread blows. Pretty much everything about Frazier is the same as his career numbers from line drive rate to walk rate, except for a slightly higher K rate and a BABIP 100 points below his career average. He's a decent week away from his numbers being back to what we would expect. He's already on the way. He's had a lot better at bats this week. Jose on the other hand...
  6. Tonight was legit some of the most fun I've had at the stadium in a long time. This team is good.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 03:04 PM) Sox line up https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/723600333356847104 While I disagree that Jackson should be in the 2 hole right now, it makes a lot of sense for how he's swinging the bat right now. He's definitely going to see more fastballs in front of Abreu. That said, I really think Robin needs to be stacking this differently right now. Maybe something like: Eaton Abreu Cabrera Frazier Lawrie Rollins DH Avila Jackson
  8. Second game today. Fully plan to hit atleast 1 a homestand.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 09:45 AM) The only real decent team we have played so far was Cleveland, and they split with them before the rain out. On the bright side we are playing this in Chicago, and not in the bandbox in Arlington. Oakland is 9-7
  10. He doesnt have much power, wouldnt make sense to put him in the 3 hole. Ideal 2 hole hitter.
  11. This is going to be an interesting series. Rangers come in having scored the most runs in the AL while the Sox have given up the least runs. By contrast, Sox have scored the second least amount of runs while the Rangers have allowed the third most.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 07:22 AM) That would make sense if one of Danks' starts wasn't the home opener and the other on the road. Statistically, there's very little correlation with attendance upticks even in Chris Sale starts. It's looking at the same number of games (six) as last year, so the rainout probably ends up as a neutral because had they tried to play under those conditions the walk-up would have been less than 500 and their overall attendance would be even lower than its current 18,000+ average. At any rate, more evidence forthcoming this weekend against the Rangers, an "average" or slightly below draw one would imagine. For someone that lives half a world away and doesnt attend games, you care a lot about the attendance of games.
  13. Looking forward to a warmer game tonight than my last game. Lets go Sox!
  14. If you don't want to give any internal options a try, Mike Morse got released today. He couldn't be any worse than Avi
  15. This topic has been beat to death ya, but he has continued to not show a thing. This team needs to try something else starting tomorrow. He has no approach, his confidence is gone, he provides no value to this team whatsoever...what is he doing here? I don't care where the change comes from, but they can't keep throwing these ABs away and hope to contend. The kid can't play.
  16. In my defense, I didnt see the pitch thrown to him, but I would agree if its a rolling curveball that's the one you go for. Gotta shakeup the roster tomorrow though, they need to wake up for this next stretch.
  17. Swinging first pitch after 2 straight walks. STUPID.
  18. Serious question: after seeing the suicide on the first pitch, why arent they throwing a pitchout the next pitch?
  19. Atleast the Sox have the heart of the...bwhahahahahahaha
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 03:21 PM) that's depressing Got any other ideas? If no one is going to hit right now, you might as well stack the guys that are actually hitting
