Whatever trade value he had has probably taken a hit with the way he has regressed. Not that it much matters now. I doubt anyone gives up much for Project Pat at this point, even if he is looking like a semi-competent player now, that 4th pick shine is gone. Not that AK would admit his mistake by trading him now.

It hasn’t worked for SD yet, and may not ever with a behemoth like LAD in their division. All things being equal I’d still rather have an owner and GM who are actually trying. It’s more than we can say about the dopes at 35th & Shields.

I concur. Even bad baseball is better than no baseball. As for this team, my expectations are low enough that they shouldn’t disappoint me too much. There’s plenty other baseball to watch if they suck ass again and I won’t waste much energy if they do.
