  1. I find no confirmation anywhere on Twitter this morning so I’m calling BS.
  2. Feels like the Sox massively overpay here.
  3. Failing to make the post season in the middle of their so called window pretty much meant the window was closed. Or was never truly open.
  4. It shouldn’t even take outside the box thinking. The parking lots sit empty half of the year. A new owner that allowed entertainment to be built starts pulling in dollars year round. Put out a consistent winner and the fan base not only supports them, but also grows. Win consistently and you add playoff revenue regularly. It’s not rocket science.
  5. He will outlive us all, and the White Sox will still have to be pried from his cold dead hands.
  6. That phrase I still don't quite understand. But honestly I think it speaks more to the toxic org than the player. We don't really know what went on in the clubhouse, but something was very wrong. But since we know the asshats in charge aren't being replaced or changing their ways, they will replace certain players deemed 'problematic'. I really can't make those sentiments make sense any other way.
  7. Houston was clearly the better team in October 2021, but that series was one of the worst strategically managed series I can remember. TLR put the Sox at a tactical disadvantage nearly every game he "managed" his entire second tenure, let alone that series.
  8. Stupid fucking TLR. If not the Yermin incident it would have been something else later. He was always a terrible fit with these players. We shouldn’t be surprised by whatever dirty laundry gets aired out this winter after half of these guys are traded.
  9. I saw tweets suggesting the same. Dodgers supposedly worried about fan backlash.
  10. I’m sitting here thinking about how toxic that clubhouse must have been for them to show Jose Abreu the door and for rumors to be swirling that TA is next. Players are people too but WTF? These players all seemed tight AF playing for Ricky, and after 2 years of TLR everything goes to s%*# and faces of the franchise have supposedly worn out their welcome? Something doesn’t add up here.
  11. It’s easy to upgrade from Gavin Sheets pretending to be an RF. But does it actually help the team win? Who the hell knows.
  12. That would be my uneducated guess.
  13. How much would we have to sweeten a Gavin Sheets offer? ?
  14. If we are in fantasy land, I’ll just go back in time a few years, best Philly’s offers for Harper and Wheeler, leak the TLR DUI before the hire was announced so he withdraws his name, hire Hinch, and lock up Rodon while I’m at it.
  15. They are desperate to change the vibe w/o spending or completely pulling the plug. Another half-assed off-season aiming for the middle.
  16. Can’t wait for their spend nothing plan to crash and burn. Sell the fucking team already JR…
  17. SF needs to lock up Correa ASAP so the trade market opens up. I’m fucking sick of watching big league orgs toss around large contracts to improve their teams while the asshats here pretend they are tapped out and pinch pennies. Fucking do something already you hacks.
  18. Padres announcers raved about Ha-Seong Kim a lot last season, and they hinted that he would be the everyday SS in 23 even after Tatis returned. Bogerts is obviously a good get, so maybe they trade Kim. Or perhaps they’ve soured on Tatis altogether and look to trade him too? I imagine somebody would take a chance that he gets his head on straight and returns to MVP form.
  19. Yes. It’s not that the Sox can’t, it’s that they won’t. They refuse to. It’s down right infuriating at this point.
