  1. Wouldn’t surprise me
  2. Gallo, or Conforto dark horse.
  3. Never fear, Leury is still here…
  4. I’m no expert but I want to say hammate injuries take a full year to return to full strength and can sap a hitter’s hand strength.
  5. Can we we at least go with BN10D???
  6. They already traded away Teoscar, Biggo and a catcher are really their only spare parts. I don't know much about their system, but if they had any LH OH power in the upper minors they wouldn't give it up when its their biggest need too.
  7. If true it best be for more than Jansen. He's dead wrong about the Sox biggest deficit being catching though, which makes me question the info. Sadly Rick Hahn is dumb enough to do this deal.
  8. I don’t know if I could love a post more.
  9. Oh I completely agree. I just want an owner that actually wants to win at baseball over make more money thorough baseball at the expense of winning. There is no reason new ownership can’t do both and give the shitty Cubs a run for their money in this town.
  10. Firing or forcing people out also requires hiring of better replacements. Not something I would want to entrust to Musk.
  11. Oh, right, those assholes. That would be a no from me too.
  12. I would take any new money billionaire that is buying the franchise to win vs make more money. Someone that sees the untapped potential and is willing to invest in making the Sox a top tier franchise.
  13. Musk is another ‘thinks he’s the smartest man in the room’ person who would run the Sox into the ground by meddling in everything. Twitter has nearly crashed & burned over the past month+ under his “watch”, don’t let him anywhere near the Sox or any baseball franchise.
  14. If by good steward you mean earn money for his investors, ok sure. If you mean acting like a big market team, maximizing resources trying to win? Hahaha no.
  15. Trading for a catcher with those two already on the roster would just be dumb. Which is why I fear it could happen. I think Yaz is cooked and is a DFA candidate, but you’re stuck with him for now. Don’t compound that problem by forcing him into a DH/1B spot where you actually need production. If he’s not splitting time at catcher he’s completely useless and shouldn’t be on the roster.
  16. Nor I. I would hate it honestly.
  17. Jays are looking to move one of their catchers and the Sox supposed interest in Murphy says they might be after a catcher.
  18. That would be so underwhelming and such a poor use of a valuable trade asset.
  19. Sounds about right. With maybe a mention of a thing or two that was close but fell through to make it look like he tried.
  20. Thats way too smart for this org.
