  1. Because even if he wanted to (and he doesn't) Manfred doesn't have that kind of unlimited power/authority. If he tried it the other owners would fire his ass in a New York minute. To say nothing of JR having him in court slapped with an injunction. Manfred could give a s%*# how bad the Sox are, they are making money and that's all he and the league care about.
  2. Only two more losses and the Bears will have guaranteed themselves another losing season! McCaskey ownership in full effect!
  3. That is EXACTLY what the Sox situation is. The sooner you accept this the easier it will be to laugh at the ineptitude.
  4. I wonder if the Royals now will be in the market for starting pitching.

  11. I can only speak for myself but I recall reading them as soon as Moncada had to go on the IL which was shortly after the season began. His back injury was aggravated by the half way around the world flights he was on for Cuba.
  12. True and JR is still the owner, the ultimate wild card.
  13. I remember with Moncada there were published reports he hurt his back playing for Cuba in the WBC shortly before the regular season started, if memory serves that was in 2022. It was reported by a number of outlets again if I remember right.

  18. I haven't seen this reported anywhere can you provide a link to what you watched.
  19. It's in tremendous shape, the Dodgers put a lot of time and effort into keeping it so. It may not be replaced in 20 years. They just had a multi million dollar renovation for the All-Star Game for example.
  20. The McCaskey family hired him for one reason only and it has nothing to do with what happens on the field, he was hired to somehow extort a new stadium for them.
