I disagree with Sosa, In 1990 he was the only player in baseball to have double figures in the following categories: doubles, triples, home runs, stolen bases and outfield assists. He started 1991 off well as well before he and Walt Hriniak, much like Cory Snyder, simply disagreed on the approach to hitting. He took it personally and fell into a funk. Not saying Hriniak was wrong but maybe if he gave a little bit Sosa would have responded better.

I saw where he was making a million, there was a erroneous report out that he was making four million which absolutely wasn't the case.

The payroll is getting cut again because the profit margin simply hasn't been enough for the owner the past few years. It is possible to do the bolded part in a good organization. The White Sox are not a good organization and the owner continues to feel superstars/quality talent isn't worth the money they are getting paid by other clubs. Just this past year he basically called them stupid for doing so. Nothing changes until he is gone.

That's a good point although history has shown if you are willing to pay the price managers have been "acquired" via trades and $$$ even when under contract to a team.

It would take an awful lot to go right just to sniff the .500 mark in my opinion. Just not realistic with this organization.

Perhaps the White Sox for once should try to "break" the trend. It may lead to getting very valuable talent and lead to on-field advantages.
