Fangraphs sure was right about Andujar's defense. Awful.

8/27 GT - Rodon vs Tanaka
Haha- honestly, if there's one non-pitcher on the roster who I feel confident in as a long-term starter at his current position, it's Anderson.

That pitch to Stanton was a beauty. His strikeout rate may be concerning to some but he gets them when he needs them.

Tim's defense has really been astounding since mid-May or so. I can't believe people actually wanted to move him off shortstop. He's insane

Yet some act like Torres and Albies are absolute studs who do nothing. Both are in extended, month+ long slumps

2018 White Sox catch-all thread
- Race for the worst 2018 record (Top 5 pick) again
Yeah, unless he learns left field or something then I agree. But there were people who wanted one of Moncada/Anderson to move to 3B/outfield or whatever now because second base is Madrigal's. There's a long way to go before we get to that point.- Race for the worst 2018 record (Top 5 pick) again
I don't have any major gripe with the Madrigal pick. I preferred India but he's struggling too at the moment. The only thing I do have a problem with is the idea that Moncada/Anderson need to be moved from their positions because Madrigal is gonna take one of their spots. That's just so premature to me.- PTC Monday August 27th at 6:10 PM CDT Chicago at New York
Palka- Sox "Opener" strategy
He's a very good reliever, his peripherals are exceptional. He should be talked about more.- 32-34 since July 10
- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
In 5 games, we’ve used Ryan Burr one time. Don’t know why we called him up if he’s just gonna sit there, completely fresh- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
I asked that hypothetically since you seemed to place so much weight on innings relative to pitches. If that’s the case then I understand and probably agree. What I don’t agree with is acting as if bringing him out to pitch one more inning would have been some irresponsible injury risk, given he had only thrown 87 pitches.- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
So if he had thrown 7 shutout innings with 75 pitches, you’d advocate that he doesn’t throw the 8th?- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
How is it pushing it with a pitch count in the 80s- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
If he swung at that pitch, there would’ve been a lot of “WHY IS HE SWINGING FIRST PITCH AFTER 3 STRAIGHT BALLS?!?!?!”- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
I thought the opposite- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
Send him out for the 7th, pull him if he allows a baserunner- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
Engel needs to make that play- 8/26 GT - KOPECH DAY (PART 2)!!
He's such a pesky hitter. Reminds me of those 2008-2010 Twins teams that would just always find a way against us. - Race for the worst 2018 record (Top 5 pick) again
