  1. Never should've started this game. Forecast was awful
  2. Fegan says it's raining softly now
  3. In his career Kopech will have like 3 BB/9 but also 3 HBP/9 lol
  4. Please, rain, let these stats count
  5. My guess- Kopech gets 2 innings before the delay, 0 runs, 2 hits, 0 BB, 2 K
  6. Looking like it could be another rain delay kind of start for Kopech.
  7. That outfielder guy has an intriguing plate discipline profile. The pitcher has good stats but is way old for his leagues
  8. Why would they make that statement if they didn’t want to shoot Nightengale’s report down? I can’t think of many logical reasons
  9. It’s not over, apparently.
  10. No I wasn’t. I agree that it’s not as important but if they were gonna call him up this season, they could have/should have done it a month or two ago. He’s been ready
  11. Especially considering he’ll probably only be used every other week like Burr
  12. Really thought they’d want the extra year out of Hamilton
  13. Hot take: James Shields will be traded tomorrow
  14. Between the potential of Fry, Frare, Schryver, Hamilton, Johnson, Ruiz, Burdi, Burr, failed starter prospects, etc. I'm not sure if they'll even have to. Unless it's a one year deal for 2019
  15. 33% walk, 33% strikeout, 33% 450+ foot home run.
  16. They certainly have shots. Barring injuries or trades, I feel like Kopech, Rodon, and Dunning are locks. Cease is no sure thing but he sure has a high ceiling. To me it was between Giolito and Lopez for 5 and even if it's recency bias, I still feel as though Giolito has the better long-term makeup there. Lopez is a major leaguer, I just don't know if it's as a starter or a high leverage reliever
  17. Can always count on Caulfield in game threads for the random, negative post at an irrelevant time
  18. Burr with a 1-2-3 inning against the heart of the order of the best team in baseball. Can't wait for his next outing on September 9th.
  19. As much as I may be a FO "apologist" I still really don't trust that they'll have the stones to can Ricky anytime soon.
