I for one am excited for 2017 Lawrie. We've seen his potential, he's better at taking walks, and I think we could see a 25-homer season from him if he stays healthy

We've played more games against +.500 teams than anyone in baseball. Series like these are where we would have needed to take advantage

Why we didn't trade Shields in a huge seller's market when he had some value after a good run is beyond me

I really am not too hot on the Hawks this year. Vesey would've helped a lot, but I mean, outside of Toews/Kane/Panarin/Anisimov/Kruger/Hossa, you have 6 guys in Panik, Motte, Schmaltz, Desjardins, Hartman, and your other center (Tootoo or Rasmussen) who are either not going to produce much or are unknowns.

It's not the call that annoys me, it's the lack of consistency. Either enforce the rule at all times or don't enforce it.

When I first saw this, I immediately thought of Berlin, but I now have very reliable information that tells me Andrew Berlin will not be the buyer.

He has been horrible this year, so maybe he was pitching through the injury
