  1. Game 17 Texas @ Sox (Friday) Eaton (3): Rollins (3): Abreu (1): Frazier (1): Melky (3): Avi (3): Lawrie (3): Condor13, LTBF, Jose Abreu Catcher (3): Jackson (3):
  2. Fun fact: White Sox LHP Zach Duke leads all MLB pitchers in games (10).
  3. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 09:30 AM) The story I was told was Hahn wanted Middlebrooks from Boston and KW overrode for Avi. Well, they were both wrong then
  4. QUOTE (God Loves The Infantry @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 09:16 AM) As a resident of the Dallas area, this is one of twelve or so games this year where my MLBTV package will do me absolutely no good. And I won't watch the local Rangers broadcast, because we totally cut the cable (which is a brilliant idea every other day of the year). Either my Rangers fan father-in-law would like to see his grandson tonight, or I'll end up watching Netflix and obsessively following Gameday on my phone... Yikes... QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 11:19 AM) This series screams sweep Assuming you mean Texas sweeping us, in which case, yes
  5. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 09:43 AM) The AL 5th Starter FIPs as of today. Danks' actually went up, believe it or not: What website is that from? I don't recognize the format but it looks useful
  6. Hernandez is the ideal #2 hitter. I don't think putting him at #3 would be too good
  7. QUOTE (harkness @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:23 PM) It's way too early to panic but I don't ever recall him looking this bad. I do. He has had plenty of one week stretches where he looks clueless.
  8. I don't care what pro league you're in- if your OBP for a season is over .500, you're probably really good.
  9. Oh my goodness, he's in an 8-game slump! Trade him for Vogelbach while we can!
  10. yikes Chuck GarfienVerified account ‏@ChuckGarfien Jose Abreu is now batting .193. He's 4 for his last 36.
  11. QUOTE (South Sider @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 01:23 PM) He's referring to a play from yesterdays game that Benetti and Stone were talking about in the broadcast. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 01:24 PM) yesterday they just showed the replay of the 9th inning play. got it, thank you. sorry for my confusion
  12. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 01:19 PM) Can't throw that ball any better than Sands did and you can't slide any better than Trout. Real MLB caliber play all around, other than the slip of course. That little rain had to help. Sands is playing? He's not in the box score. And what was that play? My gamecast says Trout walked
  13. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 09:33 AM) Game 16 LAA @ Sox (Thursday) Eaton (3): jose abreu Rollins (3): Abreu (1): Frazier (1): brett05 Melky (3): Avi (3): Condor13 Lawrie (3): Catcher (3): Jackson (3):
  14. I'm excited for our 1st round pick/comp pick to be in the MLB outfield in August. /semi-green
  15. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 08:37 AM) He was fine there, but not great. Frazier is far better defensively, which is why I want to keep Frazier there virtually all the time. But if we need to spell Abreu for a day, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to put a good defender in Saladino at third and Frazier at first.
  16. My friend who is a senior in high school was overjoyed when her teacher bought the class 8 dozen donuts. It's rare for a teacher to do anything for graduating students here
  17. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 10:34 PM) Is it just me or are the faces in the Show much worse this year? Lawrie, Putnam and Navarro look nothing like they do in real life and that are the only ones I have noticed in a game and a half so far Yeah, Navarro looks horrible. Abreu/Saladino do as well but they're too young to get scanned, I think
  18. Apparently Saladino can play a competent 1B. Frazier does as well, obviously. We could always shift Frazier to first and start Saladino at third if needed.
