MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
Of course, but what does that have to do with anything? Who was being irresponsible off the field?

16 added to Schaumburg squad
That was the corresponding move for Goins

- Eloy left game with lightheadedness.
At least he has a sense of humor about it!- Ozzie calling out Ricky's lineups
I'm sure he meant it differently, but "It's just baseball" -Rick Renteria- PTC Wednesday July 29th at 5:10 PM CDT Chicago at Cleveland
Encarnacion- 7/28 Sox/Indians Double Header thread
The point is they were expected to be starting outfielders, because it would be foolish to assume that all 3 of Eloy/Robert/Mazara stay healthy given their track records- 7/28 Sox/Indians Double Header thread
Yup, this isn't some new development and having Adam Engel, Leury Garcia, Nicky Delmonico as starting corner outfielders was incredibly predictable.- 7/28 Sox/Indians Double Header thread

Eloy is not available for this game, guys. PHing Collins for Leury instead of Engel is what I would've done, however. He would've gotten a sac fly at least- 7/28 Sox/Indians Double Header thread
That Grandal is not the problem- 7/28 Sox/Indians Double Header thread
Those are some great takes from a rookie- 7/28 Sox/Indians Double Header thread
That I agree with. Just not with the sentiment that Grandal has been bad- 7/28 Sox/Indians Double Header thread
He had a .500 OBP entering today- 7/28 Sox/Indians Double Header thread
That Cleveland 5-9 is rough... guess they're stacking their RH power bats for tonight- MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
What bothers me most is that they aren't changing any protocols. The "everything will be fine" approach is gonna backfire when the next outbreak happens on a contending team. It only took 3 days for the first one, who's to say we make it to next week before the next?- Kopech sitting out 2020 - files for divorce
Kopech was the third-most talented player involved in that trade, IMO- MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
This thread has definitely been much more mature than Twitter/social media, where such takes are abundant- MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
Yikes. The (seemingly majority) view that the positive results are completely the players' faults for whatever they do outside of the stadium is pretty rough. You can follow all the protocols 100% perfectly and still get the virus- MLB COVID-19 outbreaks: None of as Sept 18
All jokes aside, and as bad as his season numbers will look now, I bet it actually meant a lot to him. Just in the nick of time too- 7/26 GT - Twins at Sox - 1:10pm
I know I'm in the minority but I like that they went with Lopez today. He might get hit around, but he at least (typically) throws strikes and attacks hitters. With Cease, I'd be afraid that he misses the zone, gets behind in counts, and then gets taken deep by all the power bats. Neither are ideal but I just don't think Cease matches up well against a team that works counts like this- 7/26 GT - Twins at Sox - 1:10pm
Moncada should be the DH but I don’t really care about the day off. I’m more upset that Abreu is starting over Collins against a guy who destroys RHH but is susceptible to walks against LHH- 7/25 GT - Twins at Sox - 1:10pm
Likewise but he actually looks a lot better than he did last year (even though he was adequate), at least to me. Off-speed has better movement than I remember- 7/25 GT - Twins at Sox - 1:10pm
Awesome play there by Yoan- 7/25 GT - Twins at Sox - 1:10pm
Ha, it was my game thread but I mostly stayed out - Eloy left game with lightheadedness.
