Jose Abreu

From May: Rumor: White Sox may pursue Marcus Stroman in free agency We liked him when he was drafted IIRC and have tried to trade for him in the past. A lot less important but he also liked my tweet a few months ago in which I said I would love for him to be on the Sox next year

Foster, Detwiler, and Abreu deserve a lot of credit, but Robert getting a hit, taking 2 walks, and stealing 2 bases was huge

Might as well overpay for 2 months of Stroman (if he's nearing a return) since we've done such a bad job of hiding our interest in him during the upcoming FA period

Are you sure it wasn't an @OmarComing25 reference?

And the second, and the third

I have the troll blocked but I must say the bit is humorous. I see the posts when you guys reply and he has the whole personality down to a tee

Grandal gets screwed on these calls

Would be weird since he's 2-3 but he has looked off lately

Yeah, the quality of road broadcasts this year is honestly pretty bad (not their faults of course), and this is a big reason why

Maybe stop peddling this stuff if it's been made clear to you that you don't know what you're talking about? (Bauer, not Huff)

Yup, the bottom line is we need our starters to get to the 5th, even the 4th, inning more often than not

Love ABs like this

Shhh, don't tell him that, it has been fairly conspiracy-free lately

And if Madrigal truly turns out to be the on-base menace that many think he will be, having him at #9 to turn it over to those three sluggers will be an awesome configuration.

I'm glad he at least got that

Missed that, but he's wrong either way

Meh, tell him to worry about catching up to Robert in fWAR ?

Not to mention, Woodruff is a #1/ace, so saying he's a better matchup than a soft-tossing lefty because of a very SSS might not be accurate

Fangraphs made their first ratings update today. Robert is #2 in WAR behind Yastrzemski (and tied for 2nd with Judge). 2nd best defensive CF behind Kiermaier

I turned on the Yankees/Red Sox game for 30 seconds and heard the announcer refer to Gio Urshela as "the best third baseman in the American League right now". I'm sorry, Urshela is a nice player, but I would take (no order) Bregman, Chapman, Rendon, Donaldson, Moncada, Ramirez, and Devers over him. That's half of the American League's third basemen. I guess this is a roundabout way of saying that, despite all this amazing young talent we have, a very brief stroll over to national baseball talking heads is a funny reminder that nobody else will care unless they get traded to [insert big market team here]

Wow, Grandal's numbers are starting to look respectable. Who could've seen that coming??

Royals hit balls that inning with hit probabilities of 75%, 90%, and 79% and still went down in order

LHP starting against us tomorrow, but either way I doubt Delmonico plays again for us barring a Mazara/Eloy injury
