  2. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ May 23, 2016 -> 08:18 PM) Jose Ramirez with another HR. 1-0 Indians. Well one jose is hitting the ball
  3. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ May 23, 2016 -> 08:02 PM) Really just want to see EJ say f*** it and be aggressive let it all out Lived up to it in the first inning
  4. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ May 23, 2016 -> 07:07 PM) Who'd you rather see gone after this, Sanchez or Albers? Sanchez needs to go. Bring up leury Garcia. Can play defense and gives you speed off the bench
  5. QUOTE (Dunt @ May 23, 2016 -> 01:53 PM) So is Avi hurt or in the doghouse here? That's 3 games in a row now that he hasn't been used Avi Garcia will sit out his third straight game in the doubleheader opener. He says he's fine and Robin Ventura said he'll play tonight. https://twitter.com/ChiTribKane/status/734819682641977344
  6. QUOTE (Knuckles @ May 22, 2016 -> 04:27 PM) Did Abreu ask for the day off? He was given it to try to regroup
  7. QUOTE (flavum @ May 22, 2016 -> 11:37 AM) Rodon is going to be on today. 7.1, 1 run. And sox will probably be losing lol
  8. QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ May 19, 2016 -> 05:08 AM) I wish Jay Bruce would cool off a bit and his price tag may come down. I know Eaton has been stellar in RF but I think the team would be much better with Bruce in RF, Eaton in CF, and Jackson to the 4th OF role to which he is better suited. Bruce is not a good outfielder. He's better suited for dh.
  9. This is the 2015 team we know. No pitching and offenses can't get the big hits
  10. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2016/05/17/lev...-pitching-deal/ Sox looking for pitching. Both starters and relievers.
  11. Rick Hahn on making trades: "We're prepared to make a move today." Said dialogue has begun but possible deals probably a few weeks away. https://twitter.com/ChuckGarfien/status/732686757964156928
  12. Rick Hahn: #WhiteSox would be ready to make move now to impact club. Timeline doesn't match 29 other teams. Didn't comment on Lincecum. https://twitter.com/CSNHayes/status/732684454683127808 Sox GM said the team would not be afraid to go after a big. Bullpen piece if it come available . https://twitter.com/MLBBruceLevine/status/732684359287758849 GM Rick Hahn says #WhiteSox will continue to be aggressive with roster additions, be they major or minor https://twitter.com/scotgregor/status/732684001232707584

    The Bench

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ May 11, 2016 -> 06:43 PM) Sanchez will hit. He's a notoriously slow starter. Sands needs to go, and Shuck can replace him. Sanchez didn't hit last year when he was given the opportunity. That's why Lawrie was brought in for better offense. I really don't see him being more to the team then part of a trade package at this point.
  16. QUOTE (Condor13 @ May 10, 2016 -> 08:11 PM) At the point where the double play should have ended the inning It should but didn't. He keeps falling behind with the batters and looks like he's lobbing his pitches. Not much finish on some of them.
  17. QUOTE (Condor13 @ May 10, 2016 -> 07:35 PM) Rodon just threw good enough to end the 1st inning with only 12 pitches and no runs and everyone is piling on him like he is pitching bad, wtf is wrong with some of you. That inning was solely the product of bad outfield play. He gave up 2 hits, got a shallow fly ball and a double play ball. If Sale did that everyone on here would be so far up Sale's ass they wouldn't know if it were night or day outside. Not sure where you got 12 pitches but he end the first inning with 23.
  18. QUOTE (Green Line @ May 10, 2016 -> 07:30 PM) I believe its all in Rodon's head. Whenever anything goes wrong behind him he immediately falls apart. Sale rubbing off on him
  19. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 10, 2016 -> 07:25 PM) It sort of seems like you want Rodon to struggle. Dude is struggling on his own
  20. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ May 10, 2016 -> 02:37 PM) No idea how reliable this site is but would love to get Reddick!! http://showtimesports.sportsblog.com/posts...sh-reddick.html This is the actual article from Susan slusser http://www.sfchronicle.com/sports/article/...twitter-premium
  21. #chisox off to a great start and what former cy young winner are they considering adding? the answer.... https://t.co/YrOrBfjCHH https://twitter.com/JonHeyman/status/729491800117919744 The link goes to his Facebook page and this is the post WHAT FOUR TEAMS ARE SHOWING KEEN EARLY INTEREST IN PITCHER TIM LINCECUM? The #WhiteSox, #Angels and #Diamondbacks are among teams known to have joined the San Francisco Giants with early interest in star free agent pitcher Tim Lincecum, who conducted the world's most-watched showcase by wearer of cargo shorts Friday. The #Padres also are expected to be in the mix following the one-man tryout attended by the Dodgers, A's, Rangers, Astros, Marlins, Nats, Orioles, Astros, and many others. The #Giants are expected to have interest in Lincecum at least as a reliever, tough after a successful showcase Lincecum is expected to have starting opportunities. The belief has been that both sides would like to stay together, if possible. The showcase took place on the Giants' home field, Scottsdale Stadium. Lincecum was clocked at 89-92 mph, and his curveball and changeup were said to have been especially sharp. As a two-time Cy Young winner returning after hip surgery, he has garnered intense interest all around baseball.
  22. http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/redsox/2...l?event=event25 Nick confardo talks about players and links the White Sox. 1. Jay Bruce, OF, Reds — Bruce has been rumored to be on the trading block, but the Reds haven’t received the right package yet. The White Sox have the money ($13 million saved from Adam LaRoche) to make it happen, and need a lefthanded bat. Other players the White Sox could target include Brett Gardner, Carlos Gonzalez, Seth Smith, and Nick Markakis. Count the Angels in on those bats as well. 6. Josh Reddick, RF, Athletics — Reddick can become a free agent after the season. If the A’s can’t re-sign him, will Reddick be a major trade chip at the deadline? We mentioned the White Sox are looking for a lefthanded bat, and Reddick could become a prime target for teams seeking a hitter. Reddick and Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein have a history from the Red Sox.
  23. Tim Lincecum timeline: He could sign before end of weekend, make 3 minor-league starts, and return to @MLB before June 1. https://twitter.com/jonmorosi/status/728763241053085696
