As others have pointed out, the Sox have plenty of room in the payroll. Use Danks to bridge the gap to Rodon and then trade Danks. Hopefully Danks improves his value even more while we wait for Rodon.

Have to say no to this. He just walks too many batters. Frustrating at times to say the least.

Hawk can nickname someone all he wants but if the fans don't use it, it means nothing.

So the small ligament is the " abnormality". Is there a chance that ligament grows to a normal size as Aiken matures? He's only what, 17/18?

Sounds like Houston is taking advantage of an unfortunate situation with Aiken for the sake of being cheap. I understand Houston's concern but aren't possible elbow problems the reason why kids are told not to throw breaking balls while their body is still growing? Aiken does have a pretty damn good curve ball for a high school pitcher. I don't remember the soxtalk members name right now but he would know better than I as for kids throwing breaking balls.

Sanchez has rather quietly put together a good season so far at Charlotte and is still just 22. Im excited to see what he can do in a Sox uni over the next few years. But, I do not give Ramirez away either.

Rodon is now a member of the Sox organization, has huge upside and that's all that matters to me at this point. Nothing much left to say til Rodon makes his pro debut. Go Sox!
