  1. I don’t believe it.
  2. Maybe he saw the handwriting on the wall with everything that went on last year.
  3. How did Eloy sustain an injury.
  4. I’ve never seen a bullpen this bad, it’s unbelievable these guys are so bad. Rays announcer Brian Anderson who was a decent pitcher commenting on Bummer and all his body movement which throws things off with his delivery. Where is Katz, can’t he figure this out.
  5. Actually 1971 was a decent year as the Sox improved by 23 games, Hemond traded a bunch of bad players and brought in decent players and then in 72 Dick Allen came aboard and we almost won the division.
  6. 1970 was bad but this is probably going to be worse.
  7. If the Rays played the Sox every game they’d have the East Division clinched by August 1st.
  8. Bring back Leary Garcia, he was never this bad.
  9. My wife could have caught that fly ball, I’m going to continue to watch just to see if I continue to see things I’ve never seen before.
  10. The record of the 1970 White Sox who were 56-106 is in jeopardy, maybe even the 1962 Mets at 40-120.
  11. If they could only fire some of the players.
  12. Can anyone here play this game.
  13. Easy DP and we blow it.
  14. Probably not until they break the record of the 1961 Phillies of 23 in a row.
  15. He really struggled last year with the bat but someone with the Rays worked with him all winter changing his stance and bat location, what a novel idea, would the Sox ever do something like that.
  16. Could be dangerous to your mental health. In fact the White Sox should have that printed on all their tickets and signs at the entrances of Sox Park.
  17. I’m not sure he’d be a 20-25 homer guy, more like 15 but no doubt a gold glover.
  18. I’d take him in a heartbeat. And he just tied it up.
  19. Right now since this team is toast I would stick Colas and Sosa out there everyday, they’re not going to get any better in Charlotte so give them extended playing time. That was a good AB by Colas and got himself a base hit.
  20. Most fans do but they keep trotting them out, they will go away once JR goes away.
  21. Correct, it’s more like the NFL with conferences, there haven’t been league offices or presidents for decades, no more league umpires either. Any team can leave anywhere depending on the circumstances, I’ve been a Sox fan for 71 years and have seen them very close to moving 3 different times. Let’s face it, the White Sox are not a marquee MLB franchise and they are wearing out their welcome in the Chicago area with the crap that has gone on the last 2 seasons. I’ve lived in Florida now for 30 years with no ties to the Chicago area anymore but it would still break my heart if they left my original hometown.
  22. Grifol would have not been my pick for manager but I’m not blaming him for this mess, he was hired by a dysfunctional organization with a bunch of bad players. His hiring is equivalent to being named Captain of the Titanic after it struck the iceberg.
