We really need to sweep the A's and then beat Cleveland when we play them, can't count on anyone else.

We need the Twins to win, time to get even in the loss column with the Guards.

I don't get it either. Let's win today and clinch the series, that would be 4 series wins in a row, continue winning series after series and we win the Division.

IMHO LaRussa lost the team in the second half last year with his bizarre managerial decisions and insistence of resting players when they needed no rest, there was no continuity in the lineups, MLB is played just about everyday for 6 months and players like to be in a comfort zone, TLR I guess doesn't believe this maybe because he was such a lousy ballplayer and never played on a regular basis. The only guy he didn't mess with was Abreu.

Pulling for the Twins to take the series 2 games to 1, if we sweep the A's we will lead the division by a half game over the Guards and 1 game over the Twins at end of play on Sunday.

I'm not a Mondada fan either but he's going to be hard to move what with his contract. TA has also had issues this year and wasn't exactly playing a stellar shortstop.

Looking to the future, I'm hoping Romy is the real deal. When TA comes back, we are going to have a log jam, I was thinking Andrus could play 3rd but then Moncada goes out last night with probably the best game of his career, not sure if he's finally figured things out but it would be great if he has.

Yep, at this point, Lynn is #3 in the rotation, he's hitting his stride at the right time and it's possible if the Sox make the playoffs he might be in the #2 slot.

I'd love to see them go 17-10 but since the 2021 all star game they are 108-104 which includes the playoff games with the Astros. There is nothing since that time that makes me believe they can go 17-10 except I'm hoping that Cairo is making the difference. It's been a real roller coaster ride and they need a lot more ups than downs the rest of the way.
