The Mighty Mite

70 years as a Sox fan and have seen so many horrible moves especially by JR and company, if they bring back Ozzie it will be the straw that breaks the camels back as far as me personally.

1 lousy hit so far, I’ve never seen a Sox team quit like this bunch. This is more than embarrassing, I’m ashamed right now to be a Sox fan.

Ricky Renteria is looking pretty good right now.

Agree, a retool is needed but no way on another rebuild.

Revolution by Sox fans.

I remember saying how good is this, we won 3 straight series for the 6-3 record but yeah 6-2 was super.

What, for 9 games when they were 6-3 and then lost 8 games in a row and never recovered.

Knowing our bunch of stiffs, it probably won't bother them in the least.

Yep being swept by the Guards was bad enough but this sweep by the Tigers is utter humiliation.

Where's the pride?

I'd love if they could trade Moncada but he's horrible with a couple of guaranteed years on his contract I believe for over 45 million dollars, who would take him off our hands.

There are plenty of great minds in the baseball world but who would want to work for Reinsdorf and Company and how would you fix this team that has some bad players with bad contracts and some players with issues other than physical.

This team and franchise is a mess, I don't know how anyone can fix it with too many bad contracts.

Was there a giveaway last night, 33,000 on hand which is kind of surprising. Would like to see the Sox draw 2 million but they might come up a few thousand short.

Why would they wait, get it done ASAP, more time to be ready for 2023.

I might have missed something but he didn't call out any of the players on an individual basis, said nothing about TLR's bizarre manergerial moves and Hahn's failure to improve the club last off-season and at the deadline.

Me too, he needed to say a lot more.

I wasn't sure if you meant new ownership which would be just about anyone, 42 years of JR is enough. In the actual Baseball end of things I would steal Kevin Cash from the Rays and their front office personal along with whoever they have managing, coaching and scouting in the Rays farm system.

Yep, Jim Bunning and Chris Short, used them with only 2 days rest down the stretch.

Correct, won last 9 and 10 out of last 11.

1967 was a heartache year for older Sox fans.

Agree. The Cards also had a guy named Bob Gibson who won 3 games in the last 12 of the season.

And the Yankees fired Yogi and hired Keane. 1964 was also the year the Sox won their last 10 games and finished 1 game behind the Yanks.

Always a chance, the 1964 Cardinals were 6.5 behind the Phillies with 14 left to play and won the Pennant, they also went on to beat the Yankees in the WS. I'm not holding my breath.
