Any change to the competitive balance system helps the White Sox. Teams with ridiculously larger fan bases than the Sox (St. Louis, Detroit) get those advantages and the Sox do not.

I predicted a day off for Vargas yesterday. He looks spent. I know it's tough to give him a breather when we're about to get swept, but it's needed. Hopefully, one of the scuffling young guys will run into one.
