Colson could have won the last two games. He may have to change his approach in those situations. Hill simply blows.

1-16 w/RISP in the last 2 games. This team sucks in the clutch. Hopefully that turns around as the season goes on

It is less than a month, but Shelton looks too good for that league.

Zavala is consistently given the team's award for best defensive outfielder. He is slightly better out there than Braden. That said, Braden's not bad out there. He'd be serviceable especially if he's flanked by rangy outfielders like Pereira and Peters or even Hays.

Sandlin better be an All Star someday to make what the Sox are on the hook for with Hicks worth it.

Kay has gotten 9 outs, 4 of them by the last two guys in the order. I believe under no circumstances do you let him face the top a third time.

Why not? The incumbents are Luisangel Acuna and Tristan Peters. Not replacing DiMaggio or something.

Clearly the Sox are not making Taylor a closer. I question why they've accelerated his clock the way they have without a defined role in mind for him. The bullpen usage the last two days indicates that winning is not their priority this season. They clearly are prizing development over results, which... when you're getting the 10th pick anyway and you're trying to avoid an unprecedented 4th straight 100 loss season... I dunno. I'm kind of tired of the mentality.

The injuries aren’t helping, but neither is the weird roster churn. The Sox are loaded with guys who are the 26-30th man on an mlb roster: Peters, Hill, Acuna, McGuire, Nikhazy, Sims, Bido, Hudson, Murray. That’s 9 guys, over a third of the roster. Feel the momentum.

Shelton is certainly intriguing. His track record of power in the SEC, then changing his approach and hitting for average in the SEC gives me hope that maybe he’s found a happy medium. Might just be a heater, but man does he look good.

Harris got dfa because he can’t play cf. The Robert trade plus Baldwin injury leaves them short there. Not ideal, but that’s where they are at.

Meidroth is not a longterm starting mlb player. He simply doesn’t have any upside.
