  1. In a world where Tucker gets $57 mil per year and Bichette is getting $40 is Robert even overpaid? $20 mil for a good defensive cf who might hit 20 dongs in 100 games is not bad. I’d rather keep him than watch Ryan Clifford in the of. But that’s me. I am on a quest to not lose 100 games again.
  2. Griffin is a no doubt shortstop. Does anyone else in their Top 10 stay at the position? Maybe Miller, Bonemer, and Rainer. But doubtful. Otherwise, definitely not.
  3. I love a run this long about a potential trade exactly zero industry sources are speculating about. It’s not a rumor. It’s baseball fanfic. It tells how long the wait until pitchers and catchers report is going to be.
  4. $35 mil seems rich for Bregman, but the cubs can afford it.
  5. Iriarte still being on this list is insane imho.
  6. I agree with them 100%. I've had him as the top Sox prospect since midseason. For me, he's their best-looking A-ball player since Colson.
  7. I would throw Oppor into the top group for 2027. His stuff is such that, if it clicks in AA, he could come fast.
  8. Finally a reason to hate the Astros.
  9. Personally, I always enjoyed @Harold's Leg Lift especially on the minors side. He had his takes, but if you respected him, he always respected you. Sorely missed.
  10. Meh. Unlikely to be anything, but gives Fuller the ultimate project. If he fixes Kelenic, he’s The One.
  11. I think they’re better off from the right side than others do. Taylor had freakishly bad luck. I think he’s a stud. Leasure looked like a leverage arm late last year, especially if that splitter continues to develop. Berroa has a shot. Vasil is more lucky than good, but he has the stones to pitch late. It’s the lefties I don’t like.
  12. If the Sox sign Imai, they’re basically a .500 team. In that division, that would make you a contender. Let’s get it done!
  13. Obviously, if they sign Imai, that pushes everyone else down. Suddenly Burke could be leverage. One of the young guys could come up in relief. Adding good players makes everyone you have more useful.
  14. Antonacci is bigger than Meidroth and has at least avg raw power. Whether he gets to it is another matter entirely. They are shockingly similar. I think there’s room for both in a roster. Maybe neither get 500 PA, though.
  15. Not sure Meidroth is ahead of Antonacci in the org’s eyes. Will be interesting.
  16. I wouldn’t be surprised if Antonacci/Meidroth got some reps out there too. Everyone in the org mentions Antonacci when talking about the org’s future. Even David Keller. I think they are going to find a space for him.
  17. If he could play a decent LF, he might have some value. Sadly, he’s their platoon DH
  18. Yep. Teams wanted him late first/sandwich. He put out a number of around $4 mil. For comparison, Bondmer signed for about $3 mil
  19. According to MLB Trade Rumors Sox do have the smallest largest.
  20. That’s the only way I listen to podcasts. Too much dead air otherwise.
  21. Actually very close Ohtani had a 74% in zone contact rate compared to 72% for Mune. Ohtani left the league at a younger age, so not an apples to apples comparison.
  22. Kinda saw this coming. I think Newcomb was the fallback position.
