I am fine keeping Katz or firing Katz because the whole organization from the very top has to go. If they replace KW, Hahn, Haber , etc and the new team at the top wants to fire/keep Katz, I think that will be a great decision. I had a horrible thought today—They should have hired Ozzie. In his first stint, he identified guys like Carlos Lee who were not winning players. They need someone to do that now. Keep people who have a competitive spirit, dump the rest.

I have been watching some Charlotte. They sent Colas down to make better swing decisions. He is still not doing that. He's just strong enough against bad pitchers to paper over a lot of those bad decisions. I'd give him some time to get motivated to improve. This team does not need yet another player swinging at everything regardless of the situation. Hopefully, he can improve his approach and get a lot of at bats in the second half.
