Can I blame Maldonado's fingers?

6/16 Games
Schultz done 4IP 3H 2R 2ER 0bb 7K 1HBP. Only one ball hit hard the whole outing. He has yet to walk anyone in AA.

6/16 Games
Elko is 3rd in the Southern League in HR with 6! Hard to gauge much about power for position players or how many HR pitchers are going to allow in a league like that.
-
6/16 Games
Schultz gives up 2 in the first. HBP, seeing eye single, bad throw by Burke gets runners to 2nd and 3rd, then a hard single by Jacob Berry.

Shultz starting game 1.

Double for Gonzalez, HR Quero. 2-0 Barons.

6/14 Games
Montgomery K'd in first AB, as well. Pallette lets the first two guys reach in his start and Taylor is out for Kanny, so it looks like a bullpen day for them. Vail takes the ball first.

Jose Abreu Released
Is the Rate constructed on a radioactive waste dump or an Indian Burial Ground or something? It’s not just the guys they kept who sucked. The guys no longer with the team suck too. ReyLo is like the only one who escaped the curse.

Kopech drawing "plenty of interest"
Levine is always wrong about the Sox, so there’s that.

Pham returns, Kuhl recalled, DeLoach and Leasure to AAA
I understand why they may want to send Leasure down. Maybe they are gonna rest him. Maybe they have spotted a mechanical flaw they want to correct. What I will never understand is why Chad Kuhl? He has been pretty bad at Charlotte. The underlying metrics are worse. He was horrendous with the Nats last year. Are they trying to lose every game they have a lead in? Plus, I bet he’s out of options, so to send him down is yet another DFA. I would rather see Cousin, or Coffey, or AHT. At least they could be up and down guys.

Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Say what you want about Hahn, that Eaton deal is the deal that keeps on giving. He turned Santiago into several positive season of Eaton (plus one epic fight). Then he turned Eaton into several good years of Giolito, some good times with ReyLo, half a season of Dunning, then Dunning into Lance Lynn then when it's all going down he turns the refuse into Quero, Bush, and at least partial credit for Leasure and Nastrini. Even if all three pitchers end up in the 'pen, this is a win.

Fire Pedro Grifol
The Sox have either been tied or led in 12 of the last 13 games. They have homered in all of them. They have won 3. Grifol is simply bad at the winning part.

6/12 Sox @ Seattle 8:40PM CT
Nice job by Kopech. Probably would go one and done with him. Threw a lot of pitches that inning.

Vaughn hit that hard.

Robert really wants to up his trade value and get out.

I think Cannon is spent. Might be time for the parade o' gas cans.

6/12 Sox @ Seattle 8:40PM CT
Maybe cromulent+. He looked great in relief and looks pretty darn good tonight as well. Would love to look at young pitching moving forward.

6/12 Sox @ Seattle 8:40PM CT
Sosa deeked him on that one. He is a menace out there.
-
Sox @ Seamen 6/11 8:40 CDT
If they lose this one, they will have led in 10 of the last 11 games, yet won only 2 of them. That's hard to do.

6/10 - White Stockings vs. Pike Street Salty Dogs 8:40pm
Sox have led in 9 of their last 10 games and they are going to win two of them. Really depressing even in a completely meaningless season.
