God I wish someone higher up to tell Hawk to shut the f*** up about the Royals. It's a defeatist attitude that permeates everyone who watches the game, and I wouldn't be shocked if it gets into the player's heads too. He used to do the same s*** with the Twins of 6-7 years ago. It's real old.

I wouldn't have as big a problem with Hawk if he had anything new to say in the last 15-20 years. At this point he's an old timey record stuck in repeat combined with a morning radio instant replay machine. The only time he was (and is on occasion now) tolerable is when Wimpy is with him.
