  1. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 05:24 PM) Smoke and mirrors even when he hits hahahaahahaha
  2. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 05:15 PM) I think it's more Cooper than Robin. I think Cooper loves having Santiago's versatility in the bullpen. Well they no idea how to use him out of the pen and haven't since last year. So I don't know what either are thinking.
  3. QUOTE (Butter Parque @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 05:14 PM) The National announcers think Don Cooper is at the mound right now. They are so much worse than Hawk/Stone its not even funny. At least they can correctly pronounce "Conor".
  4. This is all on Robin. Dylan Axelrod is NOT a Major League pitcher. Hector Santiago should have been the #5 starter since the beginning. His ignorance and stubbornness is going to cost the team another win.
  5. Second time through, they are gonna destroy Axelrod. Harper is gonna hit one out of the ballpark completely the junk Dylan's throwing up there.
  6. The Sox have to lead the league in RBI Groundouts haha
  7. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 04:33 PM) PK defense gets worse and worse. That's not an easy play at all.
  8. Axelrod's stuff is so bad it's literally boring to watch. He's just throwing junk up there, I have no idea what Hector did to Robin/Coop to make them banish him to the pen...
  9. I actually have a legit reason to not watch the Sox broadcast that's not hating Hawk: MASN comes in with some crisp HD, Comcast looks like absolute s***. (MLB.tv through Roku)
  10. "Conner" and "Conor" are pronounced the same way.
  11. Really hope Dylan "Middle-School-Face" Axlerod can put up some zero's and the Sox can get some hits with RISP.
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 02:03 PM) 50/50 chance this effectively ends his career with the Sox. He'd have to come back raking now, no time at all to struggle. This was my very first thought too. Pretty much will wrap his career on the Sox up I think. This is a kid that struggles so much at the slightest thing. It will take a miracle for him to overcome this injury and not have it affect his swing or mental state in general. Makes the decision a lot easier in the off-season though for the Sox. If Kepp wasn't hitting like crap, it would make this so much easier, cause I really like Gillaspie and think he can hold down third with the glove and the stick.
  13. New Iron & Wine is fantastic.
  14. Tigers up 5-1 in the Second. Is that lead safe? From either the pitching or rain
  15. I blame the Black Alternates for these losses. Wear the damn Road Grey's today and salvage a game!
  16. So far... Tigers offense: MASHING Starters: Mediocre Bullpen: GOD AWFUL 4-4 Sox offense: Pretty bad Starters: Okay Bullpen: Okay 4-4 Gonna be really interesting to see where they both are in July when they finally meet. No one is running away and hiding, gonna be very similar to last year I'm guessing.
  17. Gotta let them get up by like 5 or 6, so the Sox can ALMOST come back
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 10, 2013 -> 05:05 PM) How would you like to have a $130 million payroll with no closer? We'll see what the big chunks of that payroll do to overcome it. They've kept them afloat so far. I hope it kills them all season, but watch, they'll probably just call up Rondon and he'll save 50 in a row.

    4/10 Games

QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 10, 2013 -> 05:12 PM) Hawkins K'd Loser! Trade his ass!
  20. Gordon needs to stay out until he is 100000000%. DO NOT come back early and "play through it" like Paulie (Not that he's anywhere close to the caliber player Paulie is) If he plays through the pain cause he's a tough guy and sucks all 2013, it just becomes another excuse for the Beckham Backers for "One more year..."
  21. Buehrle will probably dominate the Sox though. Soft tossing lefty with a good change up? Forget about it. Gonna need Flowers and Viciedo to hit a few homers a piece.
