The lyrics have something to say, thats why they're better than the b****es n ho's kinda guys. I mean listening to "Where'd You Go" compared to some Lil' John WHAT? song is like looking at a finger painting compared to a Picasso....(Lyrically) But I get it. These guys arent in it to be groundbreaking and thought provoking lyricists, they're trying to make a song with a nice beat and some really easy lyrics to song along with so they get played at clubs. People just wanna f***ing dance and scream "To the windooooowwwww to the walll!" They do this for as long as they can and make as much money as they can, and then fade into obscurity, where they belong....

In listening to The Killers a lot lately, I've decided that Sam's Town s***s all over Hot Fuss as an album. It's just f'n spectacular, and I didnt like it much at all at first. It's aged well for me. Hopefully the new albums continues with the sound they were going with for Sam's Town. That's not to say that Hot Fuss doesn't have good tracks on it, it definitely does, but I think the non-single songs on that album are pretty lackluster and that's not the case with Sam's Town...

Although Matthew Perry was excellent on his episode, so maybe ex-Friends will do fine on the show? Perry is a better actor in general though...
