  1. Guess I'll have to send them another e-mail. Maybe this time they'll get it.
  2. I did send it to soxandroll e-mail address
  3. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 10:01 PM) The delay is a killer right now, it's atleast a minute to 2 minutes. So aim isn't the best option. During the season it should improve. Hopefully my AIM will not being doing the unexplainable things it's doing right now (and pissing me right the f*** off) when the season starts.
  4. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 09:56 PM) I wish I was there right now, I live about an hour from the studio's. The show is quite dirty right now.. I meant someone who is IM'ing them to tell them to check the e-mail for mine.
  5. QUOTE(silver and black @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 09:56 PM) i told them grassy-ass
  6. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 09:52 PM) So, does that mean you're up to the task?
  7. Someone needs to tell these drunken assholes to stop checking the IM's and check the actual e-mails, cause I sent them one. My damn AIM is on the fritz so I can't get on. f***ers need to check that e-mails
  8. QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 12:04 AM) Getting back to he topic... I believe that ABC/Sears will figure out a way to solve the situation. You'd think that there would have been a stipulation in the contract somewhere. ABC? I doubt it. They used the family for all they needed. Ratings. I'm pretty sure they've washed they're hands of the situation. I would be very surprised if they helped out. But it's not like I haven't been wrong before. Maybe Sears will, but I really doubt ABC will.
  9. Aaron Roward being a rebel. He's the first one to appear in the line-up without the long sleeves. Oh add Crede to that list Haven't seen what Juan or Willie are wearing however
  10. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 11:22 AM) Great visual. What do you want from me Hendry, I am a MONSTER! That's it. I'm gonna start calling him Buster Borowski from now on.
  11. QUOTE(winodj @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 10:52 AM) I just flashed to Arrested Development with Buster and the robovac. Well, what do you expect Mother, I'm HALF MACHINE!!!! I'M A MONSTER!!! HAHAHA Yep. (AL)ARM OFF
  12. So the Cubs are saying that Borowski broke his hand eh? That means that Joe now no longer has a right hand. Maybe someone can give him the number of a good hook maker. With all that weight he lost he can now reach his goal of playing Captain Hook in Peter Pan at the Second City. Congrats Joe!

    Books

    I'm not what you would call a "reader", that is to say you could count the number of books I've read in my life that weren't forced upon me in school on you fingers. That being said I just finished re-reading(so count your index finger twice) Jay Mohr's book "Gasping for Airtime: Two Years in the Trenches of Saturday Night Live" It's a good book(to me, see above "not a reader" part again) It's also an easy read -- always a plus -- I never realized how hard it must be to break into SNL let alone get any attention. If you're a hardcore SNL fan and like to read insider stuff about the past, then I reccomend a read of this one.

    QUOTE(Maury @ Mar 21, 2005 -> 02:58 PM) I said it on air hoping you heard it Saturday Cali. "Cali would be proud. I saw Lamb of God, Shadows fall, and SlipKnot last friday night." IIRC , you're not a huge fan of SlipKnot though. I think by the time I realized you guys were on the air, it was too late. yeah not a huge Slipknot fan, but LoG and Shadows Fall are awesome. Did you like them?
  15. f***ing rediculous all of it. You just make s*** harder to type when you add numbers in place of letters, not to mention it's retarded. I have a hard enough time spelling words in English, now I gotta add numbers in there too?! Not a chance.

    QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 21, 2005 -> 10:48 AM) Wow, you're kidding. It has been like 6-8 weeks since I mailed that thing. I completely thought it was lost in the mail. You can't beat the USPS I had given up all hope that it was going to come. I was suprised as hell when it was sitting in my mailbox.

    Finally saw Napoleon Dynamite this weekend. SUCKED SO BAD. I didn't laugh once, it was probably the dumbest movie I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot. I've seen some s***ty movies before, but with s*** like Batman & Robin and Waterworld, you sort of expect them to suck and not be good. But with ND, everyone I knew loved and as well as critics and other people I don't even know, so that makes the movie so much worse, because I was expecting so much more. Just Awful. In the category of to each his own however, I Loved I Heart Huckabees, I know some people earlier in the thread didn't, but that movie was great to me. Especially Mark Wahlberg. He surprised me.
  19. It's about damn time the Sox can pull a Prior or a Pujols. Having a really young guy in the big leagues and step up and dominate at their position. I don't even really need him to dominate just not suck total ass like every other pitching prospect brought up since Buehrle.
  20. I can just see McCarthy setting up banana peels in the outfield. "Hey Mark you wanna shag some flyballs?" Then tenting his fingers like Mr. Burns....

    Yes! f***ing SnR back in business. And I have PLENTY of musical suggestions for them now a days
  23. Did anyone see Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at the Grammys? He was talking to Rob Thomas and said: "Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20. So that makes the final score Matchbox 20, Talent Zero"
  24. I went to the Vic for the first time last year when I was in Chicago. Saw Killswitch Engage and In Flames (awesome show, only I wished In Flames were headlining so I wouldn't have had to sit through there snoozer of a show to get to KSE) I wasn't on the floor, but I stood off to stage right on the second little level there, and had a good leaning spot on a railing for when my feet got tired of standing, plus it helped as I was still recovering from a knee injury from a few months back.
  25. Looks like Stone is gonna be on ESPN and not Comcast. Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought he was gonna be broadcasting for CSN
