Mask mandate is being lifted in Cook County on Monday, correct? I want to go back to the gym but it was rough going while wearing a mask.

A year they should build their innings would be again shortened wasting another year.

Obviously we would all prefer them to not miss games but that doesn't seem realistic at the moment.

You would rather lose games at the end of the season and post season than games early in season? With the last statement I was just saying if they are going to miss games, better to miss at the beginning.

I don’t think this will be a “last minute” agreement that gets completed before this soft deadline. I think it will be after and they lose regular season games. Would rather lose games in early April than to finish the season early though.

Ha I switched to T-Mobile last summer so I’m definitely going to take advantage of a year free whatever day it is they offer that.

What is the cap issue exactly? Higher cap means a spending floor? Because if teams could spend more without a floor, it wouldn't really matter for the teams that already don't spend, right?. I feel like teams like the Dodgers, Red Sox, Yankees, Mets, etc would spend up to a bigger cap of say, that proposed $245 mill.

Has there been anything about the Sox doing a mini camp for players not on the 40-man roster that are not effected by the lockout? Just saw some story on mlb.com about the Tigers minicamp (managers can not participate but can observe) and I started wondering if the Sox have held any. Not that the stories are very exciting but usually there are some interviews from the camps. And when there are no transactions to talk about, the fluff stuff is at least something.

Am I in favor of expanded playoffs? No. Does it kill any enjoyment of the game for me? Also no. I will enjoy it either way.
