    Leury hits better against lefties, too so definitely would like him in a lineup where he has a more favorable matchup and where one guy is already sitting (whether in OF or IF).

    I forgot the rules, but if Sox go to the ALCS against a Wild Card team, do they automatically get home field advantage? Because it is a real possibility the Wild Card team has a better record than them.

    I think they decline his option but I wouldn’t rule out a return completely. They can probably bring Cesar back for cheaper if they want to wait it out. I’m down for an Escobar reunion though like you said.

    Hopefully Sheets gets most of the at bats Goodwin was getting. Otherwise there doesn’t seem to be a purpose (I assume he will be sent down when Engel comes back).

    At minimum, you would think he would spell TA at short and maybe enter a platoon at 2B with Cesar (actually surprised this hasn't been talked about yet for Leury who does better against lefties).
