In the off-season, I really wanted him (even on a creative type deal like the Dodgers did, maybe not exact but creative) but man I’m glad we didn’t sign him.
Can't wait to have everyone back together. It would have been awesome if Madrigal stayed healthy and was a part of it so we could see the lineup we all envisioned during the off-season and spring training but this will still be great.
I don't think he has. I think we will be seeing him DH a decent amount with Eloy and Vaughn in the corners (should probably try to line it up this way against lefties or something).
One of my buddies actually believes they are a Castellanos and Correa signings away from being good next year. Can't make this shit up. Claims Hoerner is the shortstop next year (they would play Correa at 3B I guess in his mind) even though I've seen Hoerner enough to know he does not have the arm. He's a 2B or OF.
Edit: you also know the Cubs are trash and Sox are good when Cubs fans talk about Sox attendance haha
It’s not “not rooting” for our guys. We want them to succeed but also realize and can admit when guys suck (like Collins both offensively and defensively).
