I don't think he would play 3B if they asked him to at this point. I think it's more "you told me I suck defensively and I need to DH only and put the glove away and now you say you want me to play a position." Having said that, if he was open to making the move to 1B outside of the season and work on it during the offseason and Spring Training for the next season, I'd be down. Obviously, we won't though but some team would be willing. The contract is good compared to what we've seen the past few months (Soto, Vlad Jr).
