    Exactly. They play a series at the end of the season in Minny. Can just make a day a double header. Easy to do with the expanded rosters.

If somehow things go right next year, then he could be a nice addition in the bullpen. If it's another year like this year, then you could trade him in June/July. He turns 29 in May.

    I think Eloy mashing minor league pitching and Rick Hahn saying "he needs to check off more boxes" (or whatever it was) is a pretty good indication he isn't coming up.

    I don't know. Outside of injuries, Pollock has been a pretty good player. I would think he could do better than a 1-2 year deals (saw people suggest one in a thread before).

    Looking at this year's free agents, I thought maybe Adam Jones could fill this need but looking at his career stats, he's never really been an on-base guy though he has hit leadoff in the past and has good numbers out of that spot (average and power anyway). Shouldn't command much at 33-years old though.
