  1. He rejected it. They may have to offer him a year extension or something to make him waive his NTC.
  2. Braves sign Profar. Caulfield in shambles. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/01/braves-to-sign-jurickson-profar.html Probably have soured a bit on Kelenic. BOOM
  3. I don't think Fedde was disappointing at all. Just did the math actually. Take away his first inning pitching with a new team mid-season, his ERA with the Cardinals is almost a run less.
  4. Tommy Pham was traded to the Cardinals with Fedde. And I should have specified the more impact type players.
  5. Would find it amusing that they seem firm on not trading players within their division, only for said players traded to end up in the division anyway.
  6. Well, this is what people said would happen when Andrew Friedman left the Rays for the Dodgers. It's like the Rays philosophy of finding undervalued prospects but also having an infinite budget to sign/keep stars.
  7. I feel like reading other comments on MLBTR or wherever kinda loved this move for the Dodgers as guys who could blow up after the move. Looks like Ferris had a good year in his age 20 season and Hope did for his age 19 season.
  8. Having like 3 guys from the 05 team is laughable. The comeback of Soxfest + the 20 year anniversary of the World Series year should have been epic.
  9. And they will continue to do so with Rojas. I get it you are adding guys who can actually bring back something at the trade deadline, but a guy like Josh Rojas is going to have limited trade value.
  10. Yeah, it's not a gamble the Sox were really in a position to take. Glad they sold high.
  11. Looks like he played a limited amount of games there and didn't play at all last year. https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=revill000ped
  12. Redistributing the Myles Straw salary for 2025. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/01/guardians-sign-paul-sewald.html
  13. He got hurt in Winter Ball, correct? I know there was reported interest but I think it was before that.
  14. Still would have preferred that Keashcall trade. Has played up the middle in CF, SS, and 2B and has some time until he is needed on the 40-man so no immediate crunch to get him playing time. Vargas just really doesn't fit anywhere (also, why I thought they should move him to 1B while non-tendering Vaughn).
  15. To me, he should be the leading candidate for the spot since his service time has already started. And because he did play well at the end. We'll see how it goes in Spring Training.
  16. Him hitting in front of Trout would have sounded cool a few years ago.
  17. Ah yes, I was just wondering what AJ Preller had to say about anything.
  18. Yeah, it’s a head scratcher for sure. Seems like they want as many swing options/ long relievers as possible for all the young guys we have in the rotation.
  19. Only thing I can think of is they will 60-day IL him in a month and will open up a 40-man spot while holding depth. Granted, he’s not that special and can be cut anyway.
  20. He was in that group of 4-5 guys that I figure would be on the chopping block for this move/future moves where a younger, more interesting option becomes available.
