Yeah most likely. Team will suck in probably 25 or 26. Unless a prospect already in house takes off or we get someone else in a Robert trade later.
Edit: they can probably afford to just give Colson 2 years to prove he can’t play the position.
It feels like one should just so they can both play behind the plate regularly but both got to AAA last year. I feel like they will alternate every game between C and DH?
Completely agree on Eflin. Tough to say they don't have any quality guys but yeah, they should be going for more stability than 41-year old Charlie Morton and an unknown in 35-year old rookie Sugano. By my count, they've only really got 3 starters, depending on how those older guys do.
Right, they like spending more in the depressed markets of "stars." Closers, where they only really touch 9-figures (and the more recent big closers) if it's 5+ more years of a contract and guys on the wrong side of 30.
