Cheap ownership. Better to have the guaranteed control. Team is fucking terrible regardless if Quero, Teel, Chase, Colson, etc is on the roster like 10 more games. They’ll have their growing pains. Maybe they wouldn’t be as bad but they wouldn’t save the season from a sub-.500 finish.
