    I think the argument he’s making is that the team’s pitching dropped off farther than other teams, but I feel like that is tough to say since the talent has also been lacking the last couple of years.

    Yeah I think so too. Both made it to AAA and you want both to be getting regular time behind the plate. Tough to do when they’re both there. Unless you are literally alternating between C/DH every day.

    Agreed and from memory, he’s below average at 3B and has seen a little 2B. Not sure he’s really an option. Would also free them up to use Nico as a trade piece.

    Agreed. I feel like there was room at 1B with him Busch at DH. But then you'd have to move either Happ or Suzuki, who I think both have full no-trade clauses.

    68, 98, 145, 100. The number of games Luis Robert has played in each of the last 4 seasons. Odds are he misses a good chunk of time in 2025.

    Yeah it probably is a bit of an overpay right now. It's their #3, #14, and the pitcher could even be outside of their top 30 for all I care. Or no 4th piece needed if you get those first 3.
