Pitching injuries (Degrom Leaves Game Early)
First Glasnow goes down, now Degrom left a game early (prognosis TBD) while having a historic season. This year has been horrible all around the MLB for injuries, did we just add another potential catalyst for injuries into the mix with the ban of sticky stuff? It is sort of crazy how quickly these two went down.

Madrigal Done for 2021
Damn man his development was so exciting to watch. Three players coming into their own missing most of a season. So sad.

GT 5/31 G2: SOX @ INDIANS
Sox are the team to beat. That man is disgusting though.

GT 5/31 G2: SOX @ INDIANS
Hey pal, at least the Sox pitching is on par with Cleveland and still has a better offense even without Eloy and Luis. That should play out well over the course of the season. But there will be some series losses and splits that will annoy the crap out of us.

GT 5/31 G2: SOX @ INDIANS
It was a matter of time before the losses of Eloy and Luis were missed this much. Yermin was inevitably going to come back to Earth. Hopefully the pitching can keep rolling and keeping us elite. This may become a Jekyll and Hyde offense for awhile.

GT 5/31 GM 1: SOX @ INDIANS
Just what we need. The Indians developing another good pitcher. I liked McKenzie better when he couldn't throw strikes.

"What are we even doing here"? Players raise concerns about foreign substances
Seriously. Our pitching has been really good this year. I'd like to assume that they could just be good pitchers, but if this is such a rampant issue.... and with TLR at the helm... who knows?

And That's another Sox series win over the Twins - 05/19/2021
Great job Gio and Liam bouncing back.

5/19 Chicago @ Minnesota 12:10
I think it's far more likely he turns it around. He's a professional, he will figure it out up there and be back to the Spanky we all know and love before too long.

Tony better be gone by the time we need to extend or resign TA.

Yermin pimped that single. HAHAHA

Change the Game
Why bother taking though? It makes no sense at all, and again just doesnt personify the slogan. Isnt it better to let him swing away and hope that he hits it to someone instead of trying to work walks in an 11 run game?
-
Change the Game
This is a slogan brought on almost entirely because of Tim Anderson's bat flip and the teams rejection of unwritten rules and generally making baseball a more fun event for fans to attract more of them. Right? Or does it mean something else completely? If not, Sox marketing department must be furious with TLR. I'd like to discuss the slogan now and what it means to you, as well as what you think it means to the Sox players, marketing department, upper management, and... TLR.

The TLR Manager Thread
What the hell is change the game supposed to mean? Respect the opponent? FUCK the opponent. The opponent would GLADLY step on your neck and beat you 16-4 if the tables were turned. If the opponent has a problem with it, play better. Such dumb ass shit from TLR.
-
And that's a 16-4 White Sox winner!
An event not completely dissimilar to that happened to the Sox in Texas a few years back and completely derailed their season. Score 30 runs if you want to.

5/17 White Sox (Keuchel) v. Twins (Happ) Thread
This is going to be a much tougher series. Gonna need our pitching to really step up, which won't be easy with this Twins offense and with Abreu out.... yikes.

Anderson was on 2nd.

Chicago White Sox vs Kansas City Royals 5/16/21 GT
Come on boys. Get out of here with a split. I think the next Minnesota series is going to be far tougher than the first one (and the Twins played us hard in 2 of them).

Jose Abreu leaves game with injury
Any chance he plays game 2 or is thatbout of the question? Knowing Abreu he will play if he can lol
