Stan gonna Stan

If they somehow convince Flower to play for the Hawks next year....they probably are a decent team.

Makes the Panarin deal that much more of a joke, but I never liked Zadorov. If they bring in McCabe which it sounds like they are......probably a better replacement.

Hawks are BUSY

Yeah, but you’re forgetting he’s an idiot, so…

I'll be dead honest I don't really understand how TB uses the LTIR to their advantage, but obviously it's valuable. There are basically two schools of thought here:

Remember when you idiots said having Eloy and Robert back wouldn't make "that" big of a difference? lol

I mean, what the hell is going on

You were correct, lol.

Mike Rizzo would absolutely not return your next 5 phone calls with that offer.

According to Laz, MAF doesn't want to play in Chicago. The only way this makes sense is if the Hawks can work out a trade with Pittsburgh, get some assets for MAF and eat some cash, and get some talent out of the deal.

But if he decides to retire....it's embarrassing the Venzina Trophy winner didn't want to play for your organization, so it's not like the Hawks get off the hook that easily. I just don't get it.

How do you not have a conversation with the player beforehand?

This is interesting...I sure hope the Hawks had a conversation beforehand...

Actually encouraged by this....I think it could work.

I know this was a joke (sort of) but I actually think the Sox and Cubs are going to make a move. Odds say it's for a RP or two, but maybe something bigger happens. But I think they matchup quite well in terms of needs.

We’ll see what the market is. Thus far, the trade market has not favored the seller

What’s the issue with that?

That’s an awesome W

1. Having Kopech hit if this was the plan is a joke 2. With that said, I don’t blame TLR in this sitch given what the bullpen has done the last month. It just shows how much they need multiple arms at the deadline.

Lance Fucking Lynn

That NL West is just an absolute terrordome.
