  1. There isn't a logical reason. TLR often puts this team in an unfavorable position due to poor decision-making.
  2. I don't think they'll have to spin it that way. Given his age, you blame the workload and travel schedule, we're forever grateful for his contributions, blah blah blah. And I do think JR is pretty loyal to KW and RH. I don't see that happening.
  3. Add pick off throws to the growing list of "Fucking Embarrassing White Sox Moments of 2022"
  4. I agree, if they really underperform and the season ends sort of similar to what happened to the Bulls this season...TLR walks away. And they won't fire him. Not a chance JR does that, the whole reason they brought him back (IMO) was to "right that wrong" Rick....who knows. I've never sensed any sort of urgency from JR to move on from KW and RH, so I would be fairly surprised if that happened. Should it happen? Totally different story.
  5. This outlook is fine until you realize "shit" Keuchel probably is just Keuchel at this point.
  6. If the same inning happened to Gio or Cease, that holds more water to me. With Dallas.....it continues to show how badly his stuff has deteriorated to a point where this just isn't going to work anymore....but we're going to find out because you're right...he's going to get more starts.
  7. I know this team has had injuries, but I said it on Opening Day when the Sox tweeted out the roster. Far too many names on that list that just are not very good at baseball and they populate a roster that is supposed to have World Series hopes.
  8. Have you been watching or just following the box score?
  9. Not sure I’ve ever seen anything like this
  10. If the stories were true (which I believe they were) can you imagine how much things change if Ms. Wheeler was down for playing in Chicago?
  11. After two days off, it’s pretty jarring how unprepared these guys are. And that’s not just on the coaches, I put that mostly on the players…but they should all be embarrassed
  12. I can put up with a lot of things, but Beastie Boys slander will not be tolerated.
  13. This also isn’t true. If you want to be accurate, the Sox would be in the 2019 season of the Astros rebuild. The Sox have made the playoffs in the first two years of their “run” Just like the Astros did in 2017 and 2018. The only difference is the Sox failed to advance in both of their appearances. Unless major changes take place, the Sox window is this year and the following season. After that, major pieces of the core with become free agents or be well past their primes. And that isn’t uncommon. Most teams have a 4-5 year window to cash in. I hope they do.
  14. Who called it a failure, other than you? Who said the Sox had to spend like the Dodgers, other than you? That’s really what you took from what I said? Come on…
  15. Which means they have to use assets to acquire those pieces, instead of just cash, which they could have done this offseason. Additionally, the Houston Astros have made the ALCS 5 years in a row. That’s not luck. The Sox have lost in two consecutive ALDS and seemingly kept the car in neutral this offseason. Sorry for wanting more. Us Sox fans have really been spoiled, seeing the Sox win 3 playoff series the last 100 years (all in 2005 mind you.)
  16. No. Let him eat this for 4 innings. Don’t wreck the bullpen for upcoming divisional games because this guy is dick.
  17. I would have loved to be in the room when the FO was discussing signing him. Honestly, what were the odds this signing “worked out?” Like, 3%?
  18. He is a bad pitcher. We knew this before, we know this now. This is what a bad pitcher looks like.
  19. He should write Jerry a letter
  20. Lol, that made me laugh early this AM which is hard to do, so well done
  21. I watched it on a 65 inch TV, so you don't have to. You made that choice, not MLB.
  22. You're really going to die on this stupid hill, aren't you? It's just crazy to see a smart person take such a weird position
