Yeah, unless the decision is egregious you can generally rationalize it. You can’t rationalize a lot of what he does.

Totally. I agreed with his decision to pinch hit for Collins. Didn’t work out, move on. Good decisions don’t always yield good results, but you can live with them. He just does a lot of dumb stuff that’s obviously dumb before it proves itself to be dumb.

I’ve been waiting to use this all year for Tony and still haven’t found a reason. That’s the real tragedy.

Regarding the Yermin thing: The entire purpose of the unwritten rule he supposedly “broke” is to protect fringe pitchers’ livelihood. That fat fuck for the twins isn’t a pitcher.
