This series upset me as much as it did because I believe we had the better team. I wasn’t happy in 2008, but wasn’t too upset because the Rays were obviously better than us. If it was possible to get a new manager and retain Renteria in a lesser role I would, but since it isn’t realistic a new manager would be nice. I even thought about Stone’s idea of two managers, but really that’s just changing job titles for the bench coach.
