Rightfully so. None of the starting pitchers on the market are worth overpaying for.

My understanding of it is that the Dodgers would essentially be "buying" prospects because they're taking on Bailey's salary. That is fine in of itself, but makes no sense if they're serious about Harper. They need to free up salaries if they want him, not acquire more dead money. Very strange.

Puig and Wood are making roughly 15 million next season. Bailey is making 23. So the Dodgers would be increasing payroll if that proposed deal happened. I don't get the reasoning behind that if they're serious about Harper.

People on here were talking about relocating the franchise to Portland this morning and now everyone is happy again. It changes so fast.

Yep. And also because of Merkin's tweets late last night. Honestly the Sox don't deserve the benefit of the doubt in situations like these but I will reserve judgment until the process plays out.

I've already seen several Sox fans on Twitter start to push the panic button. I'm just going to wait and see where these guys sign before coming a conclusion.

Yes, but very rarely does he tweet anything of substance. It's more of trying to incite a reaction than anything else.
